Review: Night Walker by Aaron L. Speer

A young woman named Alexandra "Alex" Hensley discovers Sydney is hiding a very dark secret, a revelation that will challenge all she knows and endanger all she loves. Sinister forces, charged with keeping the secret for over two hundred years discover her knowledge and set out to fulfill their duty. The truth will not set you free.

MY REVIEW

I go through times where all I read is a certain genre. I used to love reading paranormal but haven’t in a few years. I thought I would give Night Walker a chance.
It took a bit for me to get into this novel. The intro had a lot of backstory and I'm not sure if it was necessary. What really pulled me in was the bar scene where some action began. This scene would have been in my opinion a better start to this novel. I also felt like the story kept jumping around too much from each character.
I do think that the overall plot was interesting. The author created some interesting characters that I really wanted to learn about and go along in the story. It had a good blend of action, drama and a bit of romance. Although with my present preferences I would have liked to see more of the story be centered on the romance, but that’s just what I like to read.
Overall an entertaining read.
I give Night Walker 3 out of 5 stars.

About Author
Aaron L. Speer

I've been writing since I was around 11, and have rarely been seen without staring off into the distance or with a pen in my hand ever since.

Whatever my genre I happen to be writing at the time, I am passionate about bringing this beautiful country I live in, Australia, to light. (Hint hint...even if that includes epic fantasy and vampires)
