Jackson is the third novel in the Wild Boys After Dark Series. Jackson and
Erika have a friends with benefits relationship. The issue comes in when Erika
gets a proposal from her boyfriend who knows about Erika’s relationship with
Jackson. It’s a big wakeup call that something needs to change.
This is the sexiest novel yet from the
series. The intimate scenes are dirty and sexy. The chemistry between the
characters is truly felt from the writing. I really liked that Jackson and
Erika were long time best friends and always went to each other when they needed
something. I got a sense of who they both are straight from the first scene.
The banter between Jackson and Erika showed great connection.
It was frustrating to read how oblivious
they were that they couldn’t see past what they truly wanted. I guess the
author explained this with Jackson’s fear of commitment and him not wanting to
hurt Erika. I still would have liked it to be clearer to Jackson and Erika how
they felt about each other and had some other obstacle to overcome. I would
have also liked to see more of Erika’s fiancé in the story-line.
Overall Jackson is a sexy read. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
